I have been involved with this organization since 1997 as a volunteer, workshop instructor and past president. In 2003 together with IFCO staff, board of directors and volunteers we created The Aboriginal Filmmaking Workshop Series and the Visible Minority Filmmaking Workshop Series. The goal of these projects is to further develop diversity within the ifco community while providing access to tools and equipment enabling people from diverse backgrounds to tell their stories.
