In Inuvik assistant filmmaker Forbes Campbell and I spent a lot of time in and around the Inuvik Youth Centre where we hung out with Executive Director Brook Land Murphy and some amazing youth. We helped with the spring cleanup, we helped design/build a laptop security system, and we hung out and had a blast with the youth. Places like this, where the youth can go and have a strong and supportive community really make a difference. I look foward to going back and seeing how the place has developed.
